Clearlite Trophies started in 1949; the company's first target market were the local bowling and other sports leagues. Soon after local schools became a secondary market. In the late 1970's, with the decline of bowling popularity, and the proposition 13 school budget cuts, as well as a huge increase in competition, Clearlite Trophies began to shift away from the more traditional lower end trophy market, and move into the more exciting corporate awards market. |
